Adult Ed lecture by Yale Prof. Sorkin

Yale Professor of History Dr. David Sorkin will discuss "Faith Divided: The Jewish Encounter with Modern Life" in anticipation of Ben Engel's Nov. 7 staged reading, Havdalah. Dr. Sorkin will focus on the Jews of Prussia in the first half of the 19th century.

The program will be held at Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford, starting at 4:00 p.m. with Dr. Sorkin’s presentation, followed by Q&A.  This is an in-person program that will also be streamed for those who aren’t able to attend in person. When registering, please indicate in the "Notes" section below if you plan to attend in-person or on Livestream.
