Join us for an evening of music, headlined by Emanuel Synagogue’s Hazzan Daniella Risman. The evening explores “What is Jewish Music,” including compositions by Felix Mendelssohn and other musicians of Mendelssohn’s time. The concert is free but registration is required.

This concert is a lead-up to Ben Engel’s play, “Havdalah,”  which tells the story of the Mendelssohn family, focusing on the pressures, conflicts and opportunities Jews faced in 19^th century Berlin.
